If you want to be right in the middle of everything, Casa Vizcarra 1 is for YOU! It’s located in the Emiliano Zapata area of Old Town, which is just soooo centric and full of life. You’re only five blocks from the beach and the famous Malecon! Can you imagine? You can just stroll down for a morning swim or a sunset walk whenever you want.
This studio is modern, bright, and perfect for one or two people who want a cozy, high-energy home base. We know how important staying connected is (especially for our digital nomad friends!), so we’ve installed high-speed WiFi with an ethernet port. It’s super reliable! Plus, there’s an open terrace on the fourth level where you can soak up the sun and just relax. It’s the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee while looking out over the mountains and the city.
The kitchen is fully stocked with more than just the basics, so if you feel like whipping up some local ingredients from the market, you’re all set! It’s all about Authentic Old Town Living at its absolute finest.

Looking for something that feels like a real Mexican barrio? You are going to FALL IN LOVE with Casa Vizcarra 2! This studio is all about living simple and practical right in the heart of Old Town. It’s located in a traditional neighborhood with cobblestone streets where you’ll see kids playing soccer and a traditional convenience store on every other corner. It is just so charming!
This is one of our favorite apartments for rent in puerto vallarta because it truly lets you live like a local. It’s on the second floor and features a comfy queen-size bed, great water pressure (sooo important!), and an air conditioner to keep you cool after a day of exploring. And get this: the TV has access to over 10,000 movies and live TV from the US and Canada! It’s the perfect place to crash after a day at the beach.
Everything you need is right around the corner. There’s even a laundry service nearby, making it super easy for longer stays. When you stay here, you’re truly discovering the Authentic Side of Old Town.
Life in Old Town (Zona Romántica)
The best part about staying in Old Town (also known as the Zona Romántica) is that everything is walkable! You are surrounded by the best restaurants, art galleries, and cafes in the city. If you feel like exploring a bit further, the walk from the lush Amapas area to Los Muertos Beach takes just 10–15 minutes. It’s a gorgeous walk with stunning ocean vistas the whole way!
We always recommend our guests spend at least one morning at the Isla Río Cuale Flea Market. It’s been around since the 1950s and is just packed with amazing artisan goods. You can find everything from handmade jewelry to traditional textiles. And if you’re a foodie, you are in heaven! The taco stands in Old Town are legendary.
