Waking Up in Paradise (Literally!)
Can we just talk about the balconies for a second? Because I am NOT kidding when I say they are the heart and soul of our condos. There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING, better than waking up, grabbing a fresh cup of Mexican coffee, and stepping outside to see the lush green mountains meeting the deep blue sea.
Our favorite thing to do is just sit and watch the city wake up. In Old Town (which we also call Zona Romántica, because it’s just that dreamy!), you get to hear the distant sounds of the town coming to life, see the birds flying over the jungle, and feel that warm breeze on your face. It is EPIC vibes only from the moment you open your eyes!

The best part? Everything is so close! You can take a gorgeous 10–15 minute walk from the quiet, lush area of Amapas right down to the energy of Los Muertos Beach. It is such a beautiful stroll, you’ll pass colorful buildings, blooming bougainvillea, and maybe even a friendly street cat or two. By the time you get to the beach, you’re already in love with the neighborhood!
Supporting local is everything to us. We love our neighbors, the local artists who make the beautiful textiles in our rooms, and the family-run taco stands on every corner. When you stay with us, you’re supporting this amazing community too, and that just makes the vacation feel even better!

Okay, I’m going to share a few of our absolute favorite spots to grab a view that will make your Instagram followers SOOO jealous.
- The Balcony (Duh!): Honestly, some of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen have been right from our own properties. Why go out when you have a front-row seat to the sky turning purple and orange?
- The Mirador (The Lookout): If you’re up for a little bit of a walk, there are some incredible hidden stairways in Old Town that lead to breathtaking viewpoints. You’ll see the red-tiled roofs of the town against the backdrop of the bay.
- Beachfront Bliss: Watching the sun dip below the horizon while your toes are in the sand at Los Muertos Beach is a MUST. It’s just a short walk away, and the energy there at sunset is UNREAL!
